Discovery Far Cry New Dawn Music Player Locations is a great way to explore Hope County.
Like the Far Cry New Dawn photo locations mission, it’s not particularly taxing, but it’s a nice way to spend an evening, especially if you like scratching that collectible itch.
Unfortunately, there is no trophy / achievement for squaring this collection, but you will get five practical perk points as a reward for your trouble for completing the Audiophile mission.
While you can purchase a map of music player locations through the Mapping Office, there are much better things to burn off your Ethanol, so here is our Far Cry New Dawn Music Player Location Set to help you out.
To get started, just grab a music player – any one will do – and the side mission will begin.
Finally: while we’ve done our best to avoid any spoilers, even the locations and notes themselves may contain unwanted spoilers, so be careful trying to stay spoiler-free!
Far Cry New Dawn Music Player Locations
To note: When we say head “east” we mean head to the right as if you were looking at the map. For a few of these you’ll need your grappling hook, and for a handful of others you’ll need the hook, so if you haven’t unlocked it in the perks menu yet, you better meet some challenges. Yes, we said “unlock” when we were talking about lockpicking. Yes, that was a terrible pun. No, we are not sorry.
Redler’s Hollow Music Player Location (Hookshot Required)
Okay, so we say it’s Redler’s Hollow, but it’s really a bit west of it. Head west until you reach the water, turn left and you will soon come to a rusty and shabby bridge. A note pinned to the door suggests you swing in the back.
Grab yourself, jump out the window and the music player is yours.

Big Mike’s Dale music player location
East of Big Mike’s Dale, less than 40 yards away, you’ll hear the music player before you see it. You’ll find it secreted inside a reserve bunker, along with a whole bunch of other goodies. Enjoy.

Frobisher’s Memory music player location (Grapper required)
Head west on a steep slope and you will hear the music … then you will realize that the player is nowhere to be found. Boring, eh?
Turns out we have to enter from the bottom via a hidden cave. If you hunt along the cliff just a little east of where it says âFrobisher’s Memoryâ on the map, you should see a light showing the way (day and night).
Head there, enter the cave and make your way to the lighted areas where you will find a makeshift bed and a letter from a very salty teenager. Turn right and you will see the revealing ropes of a “Hey! Here’s a place to climb!” flange. Grab yourself and you will find the elusive music player.

Location of the music player of the Sanctuary of Sein
Easy, that. Head to the Sanctuary of Sein and follow the music. The player is in the ground, hidden – badly – by wooden planks. Kick them and help yourself.

Tombwater music player location (Lockpick required)
Another simple. Well. Ish. Head to Tombwater and find this dilapidated hut. You’ll see – and hear – where the music player is located almost immediately, but you’ll need the lockpick advantage to enter the room and hang it.

Forgotten Barracks Music Player Location (Lockpick Required)
Same as Tombwater, you will need the lockpick perk for this. Head to Forgotten Barracks, then to this white shingled mansion. Inside is a locked room with your music player.

Rotgut Pass music player location (Lockpick required)
Repeat rinsing! Again, you’ll need the lockpick perk, and again you’ll need to head to a building that has been almost completely reclaimed by nature. Enter through the door at the back and once you’ve chosen your way around the room, the player is hiding behind the wooden planks – you’ll hear it before you see it, of course.

Fillmore’s Hovel music player location
This one is also hiding in a prepper bunker, so you’ll hear it for quite a while before you see it. Eliminate the henchmen and go down to claim the player.

Surgery’s Place music player location
Although almost entirely buried, it should be fairly easy to spot those freight trains (at least I think they’re trains?) Poking out of the hill. Again, you’ll hear the player before you see them, and again, just flip the boards and collect your music prize.

Bradbury Woods music player location
Head north out of Prosperity and you will come to Bradbury Woods. Follow the music (now incredibly tedious) and you’ll find this mansion run down.
Despite the fact that they are on board, there is clearly something behind the boards – and it’s even easier to see at night – so smash those boards and use the music player … even if it is. is just to keep that damn thing from playing the same tune over and over again.
